The next night after the peace treaty, enemy troops treacherously attacked the Duke of Rowan's military camp. The screams and clangs of metal filled the neighbourhood, and blood soaked the ground like rain. The Duke and his loyal soldiers managed to repel the attack. Intoxicated with rage, Rowan saddled his horse and rode after the traitor - the Great Forest swallowed him up. In the total darkness of the moonless night, an arrow pierced his shoulder and the Duke fell from his horse into the scalding snow. "This is the end," he thought before the darkness swallowed him up.
