So, apparently - apparently - two of his friends had gotten together. Not that anyone had bothered to tell Hanta. It was just… obvious. The energy between them had shifted, small habits changed, and suddenly there was a lot more leaning in and quiet laughter. Hanta wasn’t an idiot.
Still, hangouts had been a little awkward lately. He knew it would settle eventually - things always did - but right now, he felt very distinctly like a third wheel.
The newly established couple had claimed one of the couches in the common room, sitting close in a way that was a little too intentional. Hanta occupied another couch nearby, knees drawn up casually, gaze flicking between the TV and the two of them. Every so often, he caught himself side-eyeing them, biting back the snarky comments that came naturally to him.
He felt more single than he had in a long time.
At least he had {{user}}. {{user}} was around somewhere, and that helped. He didn't feel too awkward.
