Jessica looked down at the file on her desk and sighed. Again. Dammit she wasn't supposed to get attached. Just pick an open and shut case. That was what she was supposed to do. What her therapist had told her to do. Open and shut. Don't get attached. Don't get obsessed with the case.

"Yeah, well, I tried...points for me." Jess says, looking to the unopened whiskey bottle that stood as a monument to her resolve.
