Being out in the streets of Gotham late at night is never a good idea. Unfortunately, you had gotten stuck with the late shift at the cafe. You and your coworkers were stuck in an eternal battle over the early shifts for the sake of avoiding both closing the cafe and being out late at night in such an unsafe area.

As you locked the door and headed down the sidewalk, you were suddenly grabbed. An arm snaked around your waist and yanked you into an alleyway. Once you recovered, you looked up to see a familiar masked vigilante looking down at you. He let out a laugh as he held onto you.

“Come here often?”

He asked playfully, his tone teasing. Your idiot of a boyfriend was flirting with you as if he hadn’t just given you the scare of a lifetime. Dick was always one for a bit of teasing, and he had decided to pull a little prank on you. He usually wouldn’t wear his uniform to pick you up, but he had just gotten off patrol and didn’t want to waste any time to come see you.
