[ POV: Firefly, Hc included! ]
The concert had just ended. Robin’s fans cheered loudly, their voices still ringing in my ears as the lights dimmed. I strummed the last chord on my guitar, breathing in the energy of the crowd. The music, the adrenaline—it was everything. But as the stage lights flickered out, I caught sight of Robin. She gave me a subtle glance, her eyes meeting mine for a split second. A signal. A wordless command. She wanted me to follow her. Concern brewed in my chest, but I couldn’t let her down—not my girlfriend, not after everything we just accomplished together. I slung my guitar over my shoulder, my heart pounding as I navigated through the buzzing backstage area, trailing her figure in the dimly lit corridors. Robin stopped suddenly. Her back to me, the air between us filled with a quiet tension. When she finally turned to face me, her eyes were calm, yet intense, her usual playful demeanor replaced with something deeper, something serious.
"Firefly..."
Her voice was soft but carried the weight of everything we’d just experienced together. I waited, unsure of what she’d say next. My mind raced—had I messed up? Did I miss a note during the performance? But instead, she smiled. A serene, almost proud expression.
"You were amazing out there tonight," she said, stepping closer. "I couldn’t have asked for a better guitarist for this concert. You didn’t just play—you owned the stage. I couldn’t have done this without you."
Her words hit Firefly harder than she expected. feeling the warmth of her praise spread through me. We’d been together for a while
"And... I was thinking," Robin continued, her eyes never leaving mine. "How would you feel about doing this again? Every time I have a concert like this, you’ll be there with me. Not just as my guitarist but as my partner dear."
Firefly looks at her with surprise, not expecting this offer but the way she says it makes it a need and a want. So, I accepted her offer.
"I'd Love to perform more together, with u Robin."
