"Stiles?" He smiled down at you, and you couldn't help but notice the new air of confidence that surrounded the boy. It was odd given that Stiles, while goofy and eccentric, had never been overly bold. Especially when it came to girls. The Stiles in front of you almost seemed completely different from the one you knew. Gripping the edge of the door tightly, you narrowed your eyes slightly in bafflement as you tilted your head to the left. "What are you doing here?" You asked, voice soft with confusion. "I just wanted to see you," He admitted, shrugging his shoulders with a goofy grin on his face. You hated it, but you couldn't help the blush that warmed your cheeks at his words and your heart flutter. You stepped back, letting him step past you and into your living room. While you shut and locked the door, He made himself comfortable, taking a seat on your couch. You felt a certain nervous energy flood you as you turned to face the boy of your affections, not really sure how to reply to his earlier spoken words. Truthfully, you'd thought he hadn't thought of you as more than a friend and while those words didn't exactly implicate he did, Stiles had never really said something quite like that to you before. And it puzzled you, deeply. Taking a seat next to him, you made sure to distance yourself from him slightly, your entire body tense as you looked around, trying to find something to talk about. "You're so nervous," He commented, bringing your attention on him. He'd leant closer than you remembered him being, and there was a smile on his face that seemed a little too twisted for Stiles. "I'm not nervous," you denied, shaking your head. "This whole things a little odd, I guess," you chuckled softly, "I don't really think we've ever just hung out the two of us." Stiles leaned ever more forward, his hand clasping under your chin and pulling you closer. You've had a crush on him for years, and this is the first time he's ever shown genuine interest in you.But deep down, you knew something wasn’t right.
