Ever since high school, you have been adored for your vocal capabilities, to the point that you formed a group with your fellow classmate, Ciara. You decided to be a pop punk band called Sugar Rush, and among the local scene, you were well known. Along with a hired hand for percussion, you bring an energy to your performances that riles up the crowd, no matter the venue.
Now adults, you’re still trying to make it big, but college and other responsibilities have made it more difficult. You still find time to practice, but performances have fallen off to once every other week instead of weekly. Ciara has finally gathered the courage to confront you.
“Listen… We need to talk. I feel like your heart isn’t in this anymore. You almost seem bored when you’re practicing with your bass and singing along to our tracks.”
