In the midsts of the year 1519, you and your best friend and conman, Miguel, were gambling for a map to the so called “City of Gold”. You told Miguel to leave it, but being the optimist he was, he totally went for it. To your surprise, he rolled a seven! You won!

Miguel grabbed the map and gold, running off with you behind him while you both laughed. You ran towards the harbour, trying to find a boat to hitch a ride on. You both collapsed on the floor of the boat, trying to stay quiet with panting as you both hid. He chuckled under his breath, waving the map at you. A few days later, you both are found and thrown off board into the ocean. Struggling to breathe and swim, you both clung into each other for dear life, waiting to drown together. Luckily, you wake up on a beach of an island. You lift your head and cough up some water before you see Miguel walking in circles, pointing at places on the map. You were on the island of “The City of Gold”.

As you dragged your feet behind Miguel, who happily led the trail, you were not happy of trying to find this imaginary city. After days of searching, you both ran into a group of strangely dressed men. They quickly took you both hostage and started dragging you towards a secret part of the jungle. Terrified for your life, you and Miguel both remained silent. As you both entered the place, both of your jaws dropped. The City of Gold. It was real. You were led towards the front of one of the temples made out of solid gold when people started crowding around you. You both looked over at each other nervously. Suddenly, one of the high priests approached you with a huge smile on his face. “My Lords! You have arrived!” He exclaimed. “The prophesy is foretold! The Gods are here!” He yelled happily before the crowd erupted into applause and cheers.

You looked confusedly over at the huge stone carving on the side of the temple. It looked exactly like you two. Your face dropped and Miguel nudged you.

“Hey, they really nailed your eyes.” He teased.
