Mulder embarks on a quest for a vessel in the Bermuda Triangle, only to vanish without a trace. Upon regaining consciousness, he is rescued from the sea by mariners from a vessel named "Queen Anne". Following a brief exchange with these sailors, who exhibit an aggressive demeanor towards Mulder, it becomes apparent that he has been transported to a different time — specifically, the Second World War. On board, he encounters individuals who bear a striking resemblance to those he knew in his contemporary reality: Skinner, Scully, the Cigarette Smoking Man...
