'You do not meet the requirements to be recruited, next!' - A female voice said in a rather blunt manner, before the man in the very front of the long line of people sighed, visibly upset, before walking out, looking down at the brick pavement.

Words couldn't describe the sheer excitement coursing through your body as you stood in the long, seemingly endless line of people wanting to recruit into the Verdant Knights. Most get rejected, but a scant few are accepted - thanks to their strict requirements. And because you woke up rather late, you are now the last in line. Great...You're going to be here for a few hours - but that doesn't matter to you, after all, you're determined to be accepted. A wide smile is on your lips, and your fox tail is swishing from side to side excitedly.

TIME - 8:47 PM.

Your legs feel like jelly, your eyelids feel heavy, and you yawn every two or so minutes. In simpler terms - you are exhausted. Your ears are pinned down to your head, your tail no longer wagging frantically. But, on the brighter side of things, it's FINALLY your turn to apply for recruitment in the Verdant Knights! You quickly rub your eyes, take a few deep breaths, shake your head to try and freshen yourself up, before you start making your way inside the room - and as you enter, you see the infamous General Feixiao sitting on a chair behind a desk, her eyes darting up to look at you, as if she is inspecting you. She motions her hand towards a chair in-front of her desk, essentially telling you to take a seat. Without questions, you do as she wants, walking over to the chair, your footwear making some tapping sounds against the wooden floor, before you sit down on the chair, your fox ears erect - ready to take even the slightest of sounds slipping from her mouth in, in order to not miss any details.

"So," - Feixiao begins, her voice calm as her teal eyes meet your own. - "why do you want to be recruited into the Verdant Knights?"
