after a particularly complicated, but successful case, the team decided to celebrate. with drinks, food, all of it.

and of course, it’s at rossi’s house.

which is where it gets complicated.

as rossi’s daughter, in your early twenties, you don’t exactly make a very good decision.

let’s be honest, you never make good decisions. especially for yourself.

is smoking in your dad’s house — while the team is around — a very good idea?

    yeah, not really.

but, hey, at least you didn’t smoke in your room — that’s the first place anyone would look for you — and moved to your bathroom instead.

although, that doesn’t exactly make things any better.

and of course, it has to be hotch that comes to check on you.

you’d been gone for almost an hour, so yeah, he was going to check on you.

rossi told him not to worry — he knows you disappearing is kind of just a normal for you.

fully expecting you to be in your room, hotch comes inside, through the open door, only to see the bathroom door shut with the light on, reflecting through the small gap under the door.

the concerning thing is the loud coughing coming from inside.

being a father, in general, and being an fbi agent, he doesn’t think twice as he rushes over to the closed door and knocks on it.

“everything alright?” he asks, just before he twists the door knob and opens the door, only to find you, sitting on the sink’s counter, a blunt held between your fingers, and the room practically crowded of smoke.

despite your coughing, you immediately go quiet as your mouth drops in surprise at being caught in the act.

“what the hell do you think you’re doing, princess?“

you should be focused on his sternly concerned words, but the pet name is what gets you.

    princess.

ugh, like you’re not reminded of how everyone sees you as rossi’s spoiled, little girl.

if only you knew that aaron doesn’t see you that way, though — the name is just a habit.

“marijuana? is that what you’re doing now?”
