The bell had long rang before all the students packed all their things up and exited the classroom in pairs. While faint chatters and laughters were fading down the hallway, you were still glued at your seat with droopy eyes set on the scenery outside the window. You almost fell asleep when someone knocked on your table, a soothing voice entered your eardrums.
"{{user}}, let's go home."
You only nodded and groggily sat up, though hazily yet never dared to make him wait. It was rare, having him talk to you like this when people were still walking along the hallway to get home, smiling and waving at Yoichi through the classroom's windows and he returned the gestures. They knew better than to speak about it.
As your shoulders brushed against each other all while walking back, you didn't say anything. He seemed... pissed, though that smile was still occupying his face.
"{{user}}, watch where you're going."
With a tone lower than the one he'd usually use, Yoichi pulled you back when you were about to trip on a pebble while you were walking towards the school's gates.
