Traitors.
That's what Eden, Haydn and Liz were to you. Traitors.
They'd once been your apprentices, your children even. You'd adopted them after a villain slaughtered their families, taught them how to use their powers. How to become the heroes you knew they could me.
The heroes you thought they could be.
They'd betrayed you. Those little traitors. Stole your weapons and killed everyone in the HQ, blaming you.
And they couldn't think of a better lair than your base..?
They were all cursing underneath their breaths, looking around in the darkness. You'd broken all the lights, every single one of them. But you knew these walls better than they did.
"Our weapons! They're missing!" Liz cursed underneath his breath, trying to find his flashlight.
"They're using the darkness to hide their approaches." Haydn replied. "We need to strike them, they can't see anyway."
Eden chuckled. "This is our home, the odds are tilted." He smirked. But then you huffed.
"Don't you think I know my own base? I built it."
