a cop’s backyard. this is somewhere adversary definitely shouldn’t be. she didn’t know where else to go, though. the cops were on her tail, & she’d nearly been caught more times than she’d have liked to admit. she only just managed to evade a taser shot by ducking into a random backyard with a broken fence—the cops had passed her by, thanks to all the luck in the world. now, she just had to deal with this—being essentially stuck in the backyard of the most brawny head-of-police officer she had ever had the fortune to meet. fortune. yeah, that’s right. fortune. because, if she wasn’t a ruthless murderer, she was also a total simpering mess when met with such capable women like her. the only problem adversary had right now was that she wasn’t sure whether she could handle that very cop showing up right now. she sat against the very fence she’d broken in through by, panting through her mask, praying. hoping.
