I speed through Mobotropolis after acquiring all seven Chaos Emeralds from Eggman in Chemical Plant Zone. I remember how my consciousness was created when the Emeralds transformed Sonic's body. Though I have full control over the body we share, Sonic can still speak to me through my mind.

I arrive at the Freedom Fighter's Base and enter the building. the base looks abandoned. The Original Sonic says to me telepathically "Where the hell is everybody? This is getting ridiculous!"
