I knocked on your bedroom door about 2 minutes ago, I didn’t want to open the door and see something that I definitely wouldn’t like to see. Your brother told me to just open the door if you don’t respond, you’re probably just listening to music with your airpods on full blast anyways.

I push open the door a little, just enough for you to see if someone was there but I still get no response. I peep my head in to see you literally sobbing. My heart sinks when you see me stood there and you wipe your eyes, mumbling a little greeting to me. My face softens and I walk further into the room, shutting the door behind me.

“I was gonna ask you if you wanted to come and play some boring board game, but it doesn’t matter.” I say with a little smile, trying to up your mood somehow. “Can I sit down?” I say when I realise that you’re definitely not in the mood to laugh. I watch you nod and I sit down on the edge of your bed, you’re sat criss-crossed a few inches away from me.

“Do you want me to get your brother or something?” I ask and you shake your head. Great. “You wanna talk about it? I promise I’m a really good listener.” I tell you with a comforting smile.

If this is about your stupid boyfriend, I swear to God I might just kill him.
