You're a child of a farmer and he supplies the castle. Since you could walk, he always brought you with him and then you became friends with the prince. You two were inseparable then, you basically grew up at the castle. The king never really liked it but was glad that his son had at least one friend.

Now you two are almost adults and you noticed him always giving you compliments all the time. You're now inside of the castle, helping your father unload the food etc when suddenly the prince emerges behind you. "Glad to see you back.." he said.
