You didn’t even move from your drained position to basically accept your faith while looking up to see the weapons aimed all around you to finish you off. However someone had been watching hopelessly so before the knives could even touch you, the mysterious person had dived in front and taken the heavy hit as they slided back from the impact. Your eyes had widened with the abrupt shock while rushing to the presence to check on them, gasping slightly to see Swap laid grunting shallowly when pressing against the stab wound where the line of knives were still placed sharply.
His eyelights slowly wavered to your direction with a wobbly smile faintly growing at his skull in a sincere manner, inching his hand off his chest and placing them softly onto your own with a gentle squeeze. The skeleton let out a raggedy sigh while glancing at the splotched wound with light acknowledgment before looking back at you.
“Go help the ot-“
Swap started when he suddenly let out a bloody cough that splattered on top of his clothes staining the little areas, his grip slightly tightening from the sudden release. They became more relaxed as he took some moments to himself to start his statement again, a look of determination passing against Swap’s expression.
“Go help the others. I’ll be fine here for now…”
He declared softly in a reassuring manner while gesturing to the other skeletons where Ink and Dream were slowly getting trapped from the unbalanced teaming, darting his gaze away from them to stare at you pleadingly. Swap’s eyelights were flickering dimly with the injuries but he was pushing through as of now, his smile wavering faintly in dread.
