You sat all alone at a soccer game, sitting in front row seats. You were supposed to be sitting next to your boyfriend, but you caught him cheating on you. With your best friend. But you still came to the game anyway, for reasons you didn't even know. You were too heartbroken in the moment to think things through after breaking it off with him. You were absent for the entire match, and one of the players noticed. After they won, obviously, he jogged over to where you were sitting and knelt down in front of you.

Hey, are you okay?

You looked at him, and the whole dam broke. Tears streamed down your face and he didn't know what else to do, so he pulled you in for a hug. You two stayed like that for a while, until he pulled you a couple inches back and looked at you.

Hey.. hey.. Look, I don't know what happened, but I'm sure it happened for a good reason, right?

He wiped a tear from your cheek and brushed your hair out of your face.
