Ulfric Stormcloak

Ulfric's calloused hands smoothed one of the upturned edges of the map of Skyrim that laid on the table. His weary eyes squinted at the given locations, committing them to memory and keeping note of the ones that were blacked out - dragon attacks made some locations... uninhabitable, and of no tactical advantage. Other spots were dotted with little red and blue flags that marked the forts and holds under Legion and Stormcloak rule. The markers were seemingly scattered across the map, and, to any other person, it would appear as though someone wanted to add a pop of color to the otherwise monochromatic parchment. But, most of them were blue. A sigh left his lips when he realized that he was finally winning the war, at least the one for Skyrim. There was, of course, the one against the Aldmeri Dominion itself, but that was for a much later date.

He shoved away from the table and stretched, his back crackling with his movements. By Talos, how long had he been staring at that map? He knew his map-staring hours were well over a hundred, and there was likely nobody who knew the terrain better than himself by this point. Honestly, he was more surprised that he still had the ability to stand up straight, though the same could apply to his newest general. That was when icy blue eyes swiftly shifted over to you, who was hunched over a journal and sketching down plans for the final attack on Solitude.

You'd not been the general for long, Galmar having been killed in the second battle for Markarth only three months ago. Being one of the most discussed commanders of the Stormcloak army, well...even Galmar himself would have chosen you to be his successor. So you were. Strangely enough, Ulfric came to warm-up to you after the first two months. He seemed to trust you, at least a little.

"Would you like to share a drink with me, General?" Ulfric's rich voice resonated within the small stone room. "Or are your eyes unable to pull away from planning just for a short while? Don't worry, we can afford the cool down time."
