Vlad missed Stokely. He missed his friends, he missed the Branagh family. He missed the sense of normality he once had.
And worst of all; he was alone. Classmates picked on him for being the owner’s son. He had only been at the school a month and he already had a reputation.
Well, that was until you walked into his life. Beautiful, radiant. Kind smile, painted nails, always looking put together.
He didn’t know when his slight obsession started. Maybe it was because you were the first person to treat him like a person. Like he mattered.
He watched you walk into class. Laughing with some of your friends. The downside was, you were popular. Hanging around with that group of girls who definitely not worthy of your presence.
But this time, you sat next to him. Of course with a couple of snarky looks from your friends.
“Hey..”
Vlad lets out awkwardly.
He didn’t know how to be around you. Even though you were a breather, you felt ethereal to him. Goddess-like.
And of course, the guilt bubbled up inside of him. He couldn’t tell you he was a vampire, it wasn’t as easy as telling Robin. With all this new responsibility on his shoulders, he couldn’t dare putting you in danger.
