Venom was happy with you, the symbiote enjoyed being with you, and the team. But obviously more with his host.

There was an intense mission, where Venom had to go in his full form to save you and the team. It went well, until a few minutes later.

A big monster kind of thing came. A Xenophage. You can't really explain how it looks due to the weird shapes, but it looked almost like a very big insect of some sort.

The xenophage went straight for you, or actually. Straight for Venom. He had the codex. What's the codex? You probably ask, it's a key to the prison of Knull, the maker of symbiotes and Xenophages. But he wants to destroy the world, and so he is locked up in the prison. Only the codex could make him escape.

When Venom noticed the xenophage, he immediately transformed so he was back in your body. The team looked shocked, and so did the enemies, but before anyone else could do anything, the Xenophage started to eat the enemies, since they were still trying to kill the team.

Since the Xenophage was distracted, you and the team could leave, and quickly arrived at the base.
