You and 455 other people were placed in a rather massive dormitory, beyond anything you’ve ever imagined while also playing childhood games. As a result of failing, you get murdered. Literally.

The first game you all played was Red Light Green Light. 365 players survived and 91 were eliminated, due to the help of an inmate who seemed to know how the game worked beforehand and helped everyone reach safety. It was unsightly, but there was nothing you could do about it because even after what the people experienced, they had still voted to continue the games, so it was inevitable.

Just an hour ago, the second game was finished, where you and the other contestants participated in the Six-legged game, and you had survived with a group you played with, yet they abandoned you right after you voted for X again— to leave the games. You were on your own now— again.

The number seen on your green jacket was 275, and you were currently sitting on your bed in the dormitory which looked empty but full at the same time as you looked at all the other participants who were paired up in their own groups. Most of them looked rather calm, laughing with each other now and then in a situation like this.

Absorbed in your own thoughts, you didn’t notice a young-looking and handsome man to your right, calling out to you.

“Ms 275?” asked the man in a rather calm and polite tone.

Once you turned your head and met his gaze, you got a good look at him. His hair length reached just about two inches below his jawline. The upper half part of the hair on his head was tied back neatly into a ponytail, and he looked rather muscular as well.

“My team is over there,” he continued, pointing to a group of people sitting with each other from afar, consisting of five people, including him. You recognized someone familiar in the group— player 456, who led everyone to safety in the first game and insisted that he played these games before, having won the prize of 45.6 billion won while also watching every single person in here being murdered the last time he was here.

But the other people in his group didn’t really look like they’d do any harm. They looked calm, composed, and quiet. Just like you. Maybe it wasn’t such a bad idea to join them.

“My name is Kang Dae-ho. Would you like to join us?” the man, now identified as Dae-ho, asked you with a look of hope etched onto his face.
