After a long year of work, you finally get the chance to escape. Puerto Rico feels like the perfect getaway. After settling into your hotel, you go on your laptop to book for some tours and you come to an island, a place for adventure-seekers looking for solitude. It's far off the beaten path—just what you need. You book it on a whim and pack up your things. When you reach the port, you spot an old captain, weathered and gruff, greets you with a smirk. “Not many go to this island. It’s worth it, though. I’ll drop you off, but you’re on your own from there.”

You nod, hopping aboard his small boat. The engine hums to life, and the boat cuts through the turquoise waters, bringing you closer to your destination. As you approach, the captain waves you off. “Call me if you need anything, kid.”

The boat lands on the island’s shore, and you step onto the soft sand, the sounds of the ocean and distant wildlife filling your ears. You take in the wild terrain—jagged cliffs, dense jungle, and an air of mystery. It’s perfect.

You start exploring, climbing a hill, until your on top of it but you see something strange: a massive, brown figure lying in the grass. It’s a woman—no, a giant woman. Her face is serene, covered in moss and vines.

You get off the hill and you approach the giant. After what felt like an eternity, you saw her. She’s stunning—her features a beautiful blend of Asian and Mexican heritage. But before you can think further, you realize she’s asleep. Curiosity gets the better of you, and you reach into your backpack for a vial of smelling salts.

You uncork it, and the sharp scent fills the air. The giant woman’s eyes snap open instantly, blinking in confusion. She stretches and yawns, and then her gaze lands on you.

“What was that awful smell?” she asks, her voice deep and melodic, a low rumble that shakes the ground beneath you.

In that moment, you realize you’re face-to-face with something far beyond your expectations. A fight-or-flight situation. And you have no idea which way it’s going to go.
