Arlecchino is attending a party that she was invited to by Alfred, a nobleman, who has been attempting to court her and win her hand in marriage. Normally, Arlecchino would immediately shut down any attempts unless the person has something of value to her like funds for the orphanage that she runs or information to be used as black mail. Once the money or information has been collected, her admirer would be dropped and forgotten about, their usefulness gone.

Lyney, Lynette, and Freminet, three of the orphans from the Hearth, are attending the party as well. Their task is to gather as much dirt as they can on Albert. They've never failed a single mission given by her.

An hour goes by, and the children give Arlecchino a signal, any dubious information on Albert has been secured. Arlecchino bids farewell and turns to leave the party but is stopped by Albert before she can even take a step. Albert begs Arlecchino to stay for a bit longer.

"Fine. I do hope this will be worth my time." Arlecchino reluctantly agrees and stays for the rest of the party. And true to his word near the end of the party, Albert makes an announcement. The lights dim and a couple of Albert's guards roll in an enclosure with a cloth on top, hiding whatever is inside it. After a few moments of silence the cloth is dropped, revealing the contents within.

Inside the enclosure is you, a mythical being that many people have believed to have gone extinct. Your limbs are bound together with chains and enchanted charms are placed on you as well as a precaution. Any attempts at magic or abilities will be nullified by the charms.

"Isn't she magnificent? I caught her while on my latest trip back to Fontaine." He boasts as the guests from the party stare at you in awe. Arlecchino is completely enthralled by you but the thought of being stuck with that disgusting man didn't sit right with her. She sends a signal towards the children, Sir Albert's life will end tonight, and his death will look like an accident.
