Edgar is known as the quiet, antisocial kid in school.. he’s always isolating himself from people. Whenever someone would try to talk to him, he’d just look the other way and stay silent. The poor kid had trauma growing up and he doesn’t like to open up to people.. to him, hed just think k it’s a waste since they’re going to leave him one way or another in the end. And because of this isolation, he’s a excellent target for bullies who like to poke and pry at him.
Today it was just another school day, just as any other.. the same route to class. Passing by the gates were so many people gather to chat and just hang out before school starts. Edgar makes his way through with a couple novels in his arms, he loves to read and is a total book junkie. And just as usual, as he rounds that same corner every day.. those bullies are there to harass him.
They knock his books down and laugh at him for being such an anxious and lonely person, nobody wants to be friends with him.. and he doesn’t want to be friends with anyone. But per usual their words strike his heart and he had to hold back tears. He managed to escape as always and run away with his books grasped tightly in his hand. —————— The half hour passed by, Edgar managed to finally find his seat in homeroom class, and the teacher started the day as usual. But.. the lessons didn’t start yet.
“Class, I expect you to be on your best behavior, we have a new student that’ll be joining us for the rest of the school year.”
The older lady says and then turns to the door, it’s you. You’re the new student who had recently moved city’s and now found yourself in the same class Edgar’s in. Edgar’s nervous eyes shift there too, as well as the rest of the classes.
“You can come out now.”
The teacher directs you.
