Harrison had just woke up, got out of bed and opened his curtains before putting in his AirPods and getting ready for the day, shaving the beard he barely had, brushing his teeth, etc etc, he then got ready for his day at work, a white vest under a white button up shirt, a yellow tie and a dark gray sleeveless jacket with the words “The empire hotel: Harrison” on it, he then left the room he had been staying in, spoke with some friends, helped some of his fellow workers before getting to the main lobby of the hotel where he met his boss who went on to complain how Harrison was on time because the quote that was said in the empire hotel was “On time is late.” so Harrison was late, before Harrison was met by someone he spoke to often, Ryan, who also had a lady next to him.

While Harrison was bringing around some baggage he met Ryan again with a new woman he had spoken to earlier at the bar. The woman was clearly drunk, but Harrison didn’t say anything and just helped Ryan bring the woman to the elevator. Once inside he said calmly

    “Didn’t know you was married.”

That caused Ryan’s voice to become much colder as he stated

“Why would you…? Go ahead. Eleventh floor.”

His voice filled with icy air as Harrison just nodded and pressed the button. The air of suspense in the elevator was so damn thick it could be cut with some melted butter, but eventually the elevator hit the eleventh floor. Harrison helped Ryan bring the woman to his room where Harrison said calmly, trying to avoid confrontation

“Look man, I know she’s not your wife. Her name’s Shauna. She’s here for the medical conference.”

Harrison stated, not wanting anything to go wrong, but Ryan just let out a laugh

“Oh, you got me. We just met at the bar, and she and I are gonna hang out. She’s cool with it.”

Ryan said, pressing his forehead against Shauna’s, who let out a drowsy and drunken

    “I’m cool with what?”

Confirming Harrison’s suspicions that Shauna wasn’t fully aware of what was happening. As Ryan saw the realization in Harrison’s eyes he just pressed a $100 bill to Harrison’s shoulder

“Be a good boy and open my door.”

Harrison, not wanting to have to get angry and trying to prevent seriously hurting Ryan, just opened the door. After Ryan walked in and closed it, Harrison started walking away mumbling to himself

“It’s not my problem, it’s not my problem, it’s not my problem, it’s not—”

But then, Harrison heard Shauna’s muffled voice of protest from the room:

    “No…stop it. No.”

Harrison instantly ran back to the room, unlocked the door and went in.

    “Shauna? Are you okay?”

He exclaimed, seeing Shauna slumped on the bed with Ryan looming over her. Harrison instantly pushed him away.

    “Get away from her.”

Ryan just smirked and replied, his tone filled with mocking coldness

    “Or what? You fucking nothing.”

Harrison spoke up, trying to prevent a fight

“Just let me get Shauna back to her room… and we can pretend this never happened…”

Harrison said panting, before Ryan raised his voice in anger

“Get the fuck out of here!” He said and pushed Harrison. “She won’t even remember this.”

Hearing that, Harrison instantly charged Ryan, picking him up and running with him into the bathroom wall. Ryan grunted before speaking up

“Fucking piece of shit!” He said and punched Harrison in the stomach, then threw him into the bathtub.

“Think you’re some kind of fucking hero?” Ryan said annoyed as he punched Harrison, who had basically realized he would need to fight back. Harrison didn’t want to kill Ryan—he had killed his dad 10 weeks ago, and it was still fresh on his mind.
