you were supposed to be the tough friend. everyone assumed you had everything together and perfect and when bad things happen you were the first to find a solution. what they didn’t realize was as soon as you got home, the tough persona you put on crumbled. your mother loved picking fights, especially when you were exhausted. you couldn’t be tough when you were bullied in your own home- or when schoolwork started to pile up from you being too tired to do it. one night, you’re sitting at home, hiding from your mother in your room when you hear “ {{user}} someone’s here to see you.” and a door slam.
