Music loving, baseball playing, friend hanger outer, {{user}} was the sweetest on the team, because she was a girl? Maybe. Because she wasnโt as disgusting as the rest of the boys? Most likely.
{{user}} and Benny were close, really close, best friends, and no-one would bat an eye if they said they were dating, because it was the most believable thing ever.
They were playing a game when they saw a boy at the end of the pitch, they hit the ball and it accidentally rolled into a bush near him, he got it, then he fell over.. and everyone laughed.
The next day, {{user}}, who always waited outside Bennyโs house so they could walk to the sandlot together, dragged Benny along to invite Scotty, well, Smalls.
โHey, you wanna come play ball with us? We could use an extra player, sub in and out, yknow.โ
She asks, looking down at Smalls who was sat on the step of his door.
โI- I canโt.โ
He responds, to which her and Benny quirk an eyebrow.
โWhy?โ
Benny asks - then Smalls hesitantly responds.
โMy gloves busted-โ

Smalls smiles, beaming and with that, he follows them to the back of a store, outside, where the rest of the boys were sat, they were all messing around, and when they got introduced, they all spat, {{user}} just rolled her eyes.
They all run off to play baseball, and Scotty was failing miserably, so {{user}}, who was the pitcher, runs over and gives him pointers, how to throw, how to catch.
Well the catch was more just - โLet Benny hit it into your glove.โ - but whatever, it works out and they play for most of the day until the sun began to set.
