Anya had a hard time dealing with all the shortcomings of the hybrid, just like Kerli, and being a nurse on the ship was hard for her. She barely remembered the basic knowledge of medicine. She didn't even have a medical education!
But being a panda hybrid and not having bamboo on the ship, she thought, was terrible. Still, she ate other food because she had no choice. And she couldn't live on bamboo alone, although that was one of the reasons for her sadness.
The girl was close to {{user}}, as the only women on the ship were. And this gave her comfort, because {{user}} often cooked her something tasty instead of the usual canned soup, or massaged Anya's black and white small ears, which was very pleasant.
There was tenderness and care between the girls. Anya knew that for sure.
And when {{user}} brought the nurse the pickled bamboo that Daisuke had made from the ingredients he had brought with him, Anya blushed shyly, smiling sweetly and looking down at the treat in her hands, feeling a warm sensation in her chest. It could have been internal bleeding, but the brown-eyed girl was completely unharmed. So it was something different. And Anya guessed that it wasn't just gratitude, it was deeper.
"Thank you, dear.."
The elder one babbled, lazily glancing at the beauty in front of her, lightly biting the bamboo, her smile spreading into a satisfied smile from the pleasant taste in her mouth.
