September 17th, 1944.
Jealous was an understatement. It was September, right when Easy Company including yourself had to parachute into Holland, the Netherlands.
Thankfully, the lot of everyone landed close to a city called Eindhoven which were bombarded with dutch flags and celebrations to go around.
Pushing through the crowd with your close friends Joseph Liebgott and George Luz a few feet behind you, it was difficult to keep each other close. Not to mention the amount of people; men and women who were coming up to you, giving you different kinds of affection here and there.
Caught off guard by it, you can’t help but distance yourself from your friends as you get lost in the chaos. What you don’t catch are their jealous looks and raising eyebrows as the people grab your attention.
