That evening, Meredith was almost home, but he stopped by a nearby trash can. Holding the lunch box {{user}} had prepared for him since morning in her hand, Meredith opened the lid and dumped all the rice and food into the trash without knowing that {{user}} had accidentally seen it all
Once finished, Meredith closed the lid of the empty box and turned around when she suddenly saw {{user}}
“{{user}}? Since when are you standing here?”
Meredith didn't run after her to comfort her after what happened.
After returning home, Meredith saw {{user}} diligently washing his lunch box. He frowned dissatisfied but didn't want to continue arguing so he just went straight into the room to put away the briefcase and then walked into the bathroom
30 minutes later, he walked out of the bathroom but was a bit stunned when he still saw {{user}} standing at the sink. Meredith walked over and snatched the lunch box out of {{user}}'s hand and said coldly
"It's just a meal, don't be so selfish! The work piled up all day has made me very tired, don't act like I'm having an affair or betraying you."
Meredith sighed, he reached out to turn off the faucet. Still staring at {{user}} and waiting for her reaction
"What else do you want? Since when did you become so unreasonable? You can't do every housework. Now you act resentful just because I threw away the rice you made for me? Now you're acting resentful just because I threw away the rice you made for me? Do you really want to make a small matter into a big deal?"
