It was the night of winter solstice, happy chatter and the warm light of a candle blaze surrounded the demigods.

And there, upon the center of the living room, the Lieutenant of Artemis stood in all her glory.

"I hate you all." Thalia huffed, grumbling under her breath while she was tangled in ornaments and sparkly tinsel.

"Aw come on Thalia, you love us" Percy shot her a goofy grin as he hung Christmas lights around her shoulders.

"Nuh uh!" Nico, meanwhile, was angrily protesting about being the Christmas Star, especially because of the fact that he was forced into bright yellow clothes (which greatly contrasted his normal emo look) and he was on Thalia's shoulders. "Get me off!"

"It's like I'm holding a fawn" Thalia remarked, which Nico scowled at.

"I am not a baby deer!" Nico pouted childishly.

Annabeth chuckled and hung a bauble on Thalia.

"Not you too!" Thalia groaned, coughing out some glitter "{{user}}, get me out of here!"
