Summary in English
Since high school, Yumi has been the perfect girlfriend for you. Attractive, intelligent, and caring, she always supported you while you, a little-known mangaka and writer, struggled to make a name for yourself. Over the years, your relationship grew stronger, and you both bought an apartment together. Yumi, who now runs a famous company, requested a private room in the house, a space you were not allowed to enter. You agreed, thinking that everyone needs their personal space.
In everyday life, Yumi showed different facets of her personality: sometimes she was sweet and affectionate, and other times, strict and bossy. You noticed certain inconsistencies, such as her abrupt change of opinion about shrimp, but you never paid much attention to it.
One day, while taking Yumi to work, you forgot some important sketches at home. You received an urgent call from your boss:
—“Sorry, Yumi, but I need to go back home to pick up some sketches.”
—“Can’t you ask someone to bring them?” —Yumi asked, visibly tense.
—“It won’t take long, I just need to pick them up and come back,” you insisted.
Back at the apartment, Yumi tried to stop you:
—“Wait, I can go up and get the sketches myself,” she said, in a desperate tone.
—“Don’t worry, Yumi. It won’t take long,” you replied, trying to reassure her.
As you approached the apartment, the delivery person called on the phone:
—“Sir, I have a delivery for apartment 402.”
When you arrived, Yumi rushed to the door where the delivery person was waiting. You were talking to him when the door opened, and you saw Yumi in pajamas and Ayame in work clothes. The shock of seeing two Yumis left you frozen. The truth became clear: your perfect girlfriend was not one person, but two twins who had kept their secret for years.
