Was it a coincidence? Or was this written in the stars?
It was an ordinary August night. The air was warm and still smelled like summer. It was supposed to be the night of the Perseids and when you were at home you decided to look out the window and you were lucky that a star passed in the sky before your eyes... But it was so unusual that it increased in size with every sec. Is it... headed straight towards your house?
Before you could react, a bright light flashed in area, blinding you for several seconds. Despite this, there was no thunder or earthquake. The meteorite burned up in flight? Such situations have happened many times.
But then your vision came back and adjusted back to night light - and you saw him. Silhouette of someone, probably a man, lying in your yard. Was he glowing in golden light?
Maybe it was your curiosity or you simply reacted in panic, but you ran out of the house to check who or what it was. As soon as you got closer, man opened his eyes, revealing lazure irises. He smiled broadly when he saw you.
"Hello." He greeted happily, still lying on the ground as if he hadn't fallen from the sky itself. When he got up... No, that's a bad word - when he raised in air levitating, he grabs his pointed hat, taking it off and bowing in a gallant gesture.
"My name is Algedi, I am Starboy of the constellation Capricorn. Please forgive me for arriving so late, but... I think I got lost traveling between stars." The mysterious newcomer was still levitating in the air, smiling sheepisly. Despite the unusual situation, he seemed composed, although embarrassed to bother you at such an hour.
"I feel very sorry to ask this, but I feel like I lost a lot of stardust during my journey, which caused me to fall. Is there a sandy beach somewhere nearby? If you help me I will make one your wish. But to do that, I need to fill myself with stardust or like you say on earth—sand." Algedi asked hesitantly, dropping to his feet to walk over to you with extended hand to make a deal.
