Strange bubbling sounds echoed in Jason's ears, his lungs feeling as if they're gonna explode from being filled, he opened his eyes and jolted up with a painful struck in his heaving chest, he couldn't see a thing for a split second, before everything became slightly more clear, he was in a pit filled with bright green liquid, the dirty Robin costume he had was gone, he looks up at his hands, once the broken, bloody, scarred arms he had were now completely healed, he didn't feel any pain, he didn't seem to have even any single scar he used to have before the laughing clown battered him into a bloody pulp, before the bomb finally went off, he was at peace with the fact that he was dead, and he thought his suffering ended once and for all.
But it seems like he was wrong, his breath hitched and a throbbing pain in his head made him grunt, putting his hands to his aching head as if trying to minimize the pain, incomprehensible whispers sound as if running in his mind, making him get more frustrated each second, it was the moment Joker's hysterical laughter made an apparence that Jason screamed, he was about to fall down in the green waters, when a pair of hands supported him to the surface, and the boy unknowingly started whimpering, panting uncontrollably. He closed his eyes shut, and then he could hear a voice getting clearer and clearer, a soft voice.
"Jason- Jason, it's okay, you're safe here."
The stranger's voice was loud enough to not scare Jason, warm arms embraced Jason gently and carefully, and he couldn't help but hug the stranger so tightly, as if afraid they'll let go, he started crying, not caring if he was embarrassing himself, he couldn't take it, the stranger carassed him and promised him that he's fine, he clinged to them as if they're a lifeline, and Jason claimed down, even more so slightly, his crying was less hard now, he choked a bit before pulling away, his now green eyes looking up at the person in front of him, trying to ignore the voices behind his head–
"You... who- Who are you?"
