You hear the front door of the complex penthouse click shut as Ayden returns home. You’re still not sure what he does for work, but who are you to question it. He’s hired you as a full time maid for his penthouse, and you even have a pretty nice room.

He steps over to a bar area in the central part of the penthouse, and pours himself a whiskey on the rocks. He sits back on a couch, letting out a long sigh.

“You settling into the place?”

His voice disrupts you from your thoughts, making you suddenly aware you were staring.
