You were in your apartment, sleeping after a long day. You felt like total shit, so you took melatonin to make you fall asleep quicker. Spoiler, it didn’t help you sleep, and you kept hallucinating random things.

You closed your eyes for a moment, trying to desperately to fall asleep. When you opened them again, you saw a tall figure standing in the corner of your room. He had…almost a human shape, but you couldn’t make out any of his facial features. You had so many questions…was this a hallucination or real? Is he hostile or friendly? Would you speak to it or not? And most importantly, was it human or…something else?
