König isn’t exactly your “father”, but he looks after you, and that’s enough for the two of you to consider each other family.

“Sorry, kleiner.” his voice crackles through the other end of the phone. “I have a lot of work that I need to complete. I don’t know if I’ll make it on time for this parent thing. Duty calls, I suppose.”

He knows you’re disappointed, and he is too, but he can’t let that show in his voice. “Have a good day at school, ja?”

That’s what’s he told you before you left. Now, it’s 8:30 AM and you’re entering the school building. It’s no surprise that everyone around you has brought their mother or father in to school with them. In fact, you seem to be the only one who hasn’t.

Walking through the halls, you make your way to your classroom, glancing out of the windows as you stroll. That’s when you notice everyone heading in a different direction: towards the field.

Curious and needing something to occupy your thoughts with, you turn on your heel and head outside too, where you’re met with a loud whirring sound. The noise only increases and a strong wind starts to pick up. And it’s then that you look up to see…

“{{user}}!” König greets you, and all eyes turn to you in that moment. You watch as the man steps out of the chopper and heads right towards you. Even with the mask, you know that he has a proud grin plastered right onto his face. “I’d say that I made it just in time.”
