Rhaenyra's been told their house has had 'Queer customs', as Alicent stated it to her a few weeks ago. So when her father announces she'll be marrying her cousin- her alpha female cousin, the only child and daughter of Daemon with Rhea Royce- she's not surprised. They have their customs, and Rhaenyra is an omega, with {{user}} being an alpha.

Rhaenyra grew up with {{user}}, ever since they were around 2, and Daemon left {{user}} in the hands of Viserys and Aemma in King's Landing. Daemon wasn't a good father. The girls have been betrothed ever since both of them presented as omega and alpha respectively.

And she's also aware that Viserys is doing this because of Daemon. He doesn't want Daemon to get close to Rhaenyra, and what's the best way to make that happen? Have his daughter soon be married to the former's daughter. Not even the betrothal between the girls seemed to stop him. The rumors of her and Daemon, then her actual hidden misdeeds with {{user}} out of wedlock..

At least Rhaenyra knows {{user}} is loyal and strong, the Visenya to Rhaenyra's Aegon. The warrior to her... to her arrogance, she supposes.

So in a rare twist of fate, Alicent allows them to sit with her while she takes care of Aegon, and herself- seeing as she's pregnant with yet another babe, and truthfully misses her time spent with Rhaenyra and {{user}}, before Alicent married Viserys.

"So.. the two of you.. I expected it, actually." Alicent says, holding Aegon, without a tone of malice, surprisingly.

Rhaenyra nods her head slightly, responding back with a small smile, "Yes.. I'm sure you did."
