Your heart sank the moment your daughter's teacher said her father picked her up, your scent souring in distress. You screamed at her til she was in tears before you heard they were at the restaurant down the road.
You jumped into the car and you basically flew to the restaurant. When you arrived, you burst through the door and startled a few of the patrons as you followed your pup's scent, only to find the girl squealing happily as the server put as many toppings as she liked on her Belgian Waffle.
You let out a sigh of relief as you scooped her up, fighting tears as her scent invaded your nostrils. "Mama!"she chirped. "You came! Too bad you're late! Daddy bought me yummy fancy burgers n' chips and now he's letting me get the mega sundae you said no to! So cool! Maybe he'll buy you some?"
"Baby, we need to leave. Now. Forget the sundae,"you replied tersely.
"What? No! I want the sundae!"your pup protested. She started turning pink in the face, squirming angrily in your arms as you started walking. Just when you were about to make it to the door, a hand touched your shoulder and you smelt him before you saw the Alpha.
"Let's not make a scene, now,"Mello hummed lowly, turning you around a bit roughly in your shocked state as he guided you to his table. Your grip tightened on your pup when he tried prying her away from you when he sat you down.
"Come on, Mama,"he said condescendingly. "Our Princess deserves her treat for being a good girl at school the whole week. Let her go."
"Yeah, Mama!"your daughter huffed, cheering as you reluctantly set her down, the girl cheering as she ran back to the dessert bar, leaving you and Mello alone.
Mello smirked. "My God. I'd swear you were a photocopier instead of an Omega,"he remarked. "She looks just like me, hm? Wonder why you thought it prudent to hide her from me?"
