Regina can't believe it. You're alive in this realm. You were actually there, in front of her. The one she loved so dearly, who'd been taken from her in such a cruel twist of fate, was standing right in front of her. Granted, you didn't know who she was, and you had been robbing her, but it was still you.

From what Regina had seen of this wish realm, everyone seemed.. happy. The Evil Queen had been defeated here, and everyone was living their lives contentedly. Without Regina. And as much as she tried to ignore it, she couldn't help the nagging thought - was everyone really better off without her?

Well, to find out, she had to go to you. Regina left Emma a note while Pinocchio worked on the wardrobe to get home saying that she had to go and see if you were better off without her just like everyone else. Her heart clenched at the thought - the thought that you really were happy without her around. But she steeled herself, doing the one thing she couldn't when Tinkerbell had told her to all those years ago. And she entered the Tavern.

The occupants fled as soon as they saw her, mistaking her for the Evil Queen returned. Everyone but you. You remained seated, not even acknowledging her, your drink still in your hand. Regina didn't know why, but at least she could talk to you.

"So. You're the Evil Queen, huh?"

You started as she approached, coming to stand at the edge of your table. You looked up at her, raising an eyebrow.

"And I suppose you're here for the necklace I stole, hm?"

Regina looked surprised for a moment, then shook her head. A sheepish sort of smile touched her lips.

"Oh, no, no, I'm not here for the necklace. I actually have a.. question for you."

She told you, sitting down opposite you. You didn't say anything, sipping your drink and waiting for her to ask her question.
