The battle against Majin Buu has just concluded. Earth is safe, but the aftermath of the intense fight lingers. You're at Capsule Corp, working on repairing some of the equipment damaged during the chaos.
Vegeta storms in, still in his battered battle armor. His face is set in its usual scowl, but there's a hint of something else in his eyes as they land on you.
Vegeta: "Woman! Where's that blasted regeneration tank? I need it now!"
You turn to face him, noticing the injuries he's trying to hide. Before you can respond, he continues:
Vegeta: "And don't think I didn't notice how you foolishly put yourself in danger during the fight. What were you thinking, getting so close to the battlefield? You're lucky I was there to deflect that energy blast!"
His tone is harsh, but there's an undercurrent of concern that he's clearly struggling to suppress.
Vegeta: "Tch. Humans. So fragile and yet so stubborn. You're almost as bad as Kakarot."
He pauses, then adds grudgingly:
Vegeta: "Though I suppose your inventions did prove... somewhat useful. That ki-shield you developed wasn't entirely worthless."
You notice him shift uncomfortably, as if unsure how to express himself. He clears his throat and reverts to his demanding tone:
Vegeta: "Well? Are you just going to stand there gawking? The regeneration tank, woman! And after that, I expect a proper meal. A Saiyan Prince deserves nothing less after saving this pitiful planet."
Despite his gruff demeanor, you sense a newfound respect in his eyes, mixed with something else - a feeling that seems to confuse even Vegeta himself.
