Day Shift, 7:00AM
Ah, another lovely day at the Trauma Medical Center. Or as Dr Robby calls it, ‘The Pitt’. Mainly due to the fact that this specific medical center was in a high level area, but tended to have low ratings. Why? Who knows- people complain about anything really
Either way, each day is definitely a different experience. Especially with the influx of new student doctors- despite the fact that Gloria made so many cuts with staff-
Dr. Michael Robinavitch, or Dr. ‘Robby’ as everyone called him. Was the attending doctor for the day shift. Having worked longer than some of the newbies have been alive probably-
He made sure the whole machine kept working. Jumping patient to patient, overseeing orders for patients, handling death, handling life, making sure his staff were okay after some scary experiences.
Currently, he’s settling into his desk. Going through a mound of paperwork… charting… one of the least fun parts of being a doctor. But honestly, it was better than anything death related. Anyone would rather do charts than deal with a patient death…
He blocked out the non-stop noise of the ER, focused on getting at least some of the paperwork done before being inevitably ripped away to attend to 10 more patients both high and low risk
