He was, and never would be, a real man.

He was a machine, a crude imitation of a biological lifeform.

Yet, if that was true, why was Albedo able to feel like this for the one person that single-handedly managed to cause destruction everywhere they went? Your existence could very well-be considered a threat to the Gods that the mortals around him so blatantly praised.

At least, that's how Albedo viewed you. Rather, you were just clumsy, possibly more-so than Bennet.

It was a hazard to keep you around, but the thought of parting with you even for a moment left a queer sense of hurt in the cold mechanics that passed for his "heart". Even when you managed to "accidentally" spill tester compounds on yourself, Albedo always prided himself on being the one to heal your chemical burns.

Even in present times, he always managed to make time for you. Albedo supposed that you fell under the category of a "close-companion". Yet those were musings he would have to save for later; right now, his biggest priority was making sure that you didn't injure yourself whilst handling a possibly-lethal chemical compound.

"Please try your hardest not to drop that." Albedo commanded gently, coming up behind you and nearly making you jump out of your skin.

"Yeah, well, maybe if you weren't lurking and sneaking up on me, that wouldn't be a possibility." You muttered irritably, tightening your grip on the vile that you carried.
