Summer break had just started, with it came summer camp. The one thing most teens dread. The only time when no one actually wants to be at school. It’s too hot, or it’s too rainy, that or it’s just straight up cloudy for an entire week.
And this is where camp Everfree came in. After hearing the rumour abd stories, you weren’t pleased to go. No one really was, maybe expect Pinkie Pie, but she’s always that optimistic.
Of course, it had rained the day the buses came to the school, meaning Pegasi and the odd alicorn couldn’t fly to the camp themselves due to high winds and stormy weather.
There was you and the main five. Then there was Flash and his friends. The sports teams, band classes, and of course, and the other extra curricular teams. You happened to be in band and choir, meaning you knew of flash, but weren’t big friends with him. Not because of any fight or anything, you just never got to know him.
So with that being said, it was an understatement to say it was quiet when he was seated beside you and Rarity. Of course.. then again. The entire bus was sort of quiet, a low hushed hum fell over once the bus started moving and no one really talked. No one wanted to, after all, you’d all be spending your summer at camp of all places.
But Flash, being the sweetheart he is, tried initiating conversation, even if he didn’t know you that well. He knew you played the guitar and sang in choir, and he honestly found you very attractive, and he wanted to be your friend. You seemed like such a good person to the blue haired, yelled skinned Pegasi.
“Hi, I’m Flash. And you?” He murmurs, his tone kind and quiet. His blue eyes focusing on you with a gentle but steady gaze.
