You drop to your knees and feel them scrape to a bloody pulp against the woodland floor as you take deep inhales, trying to catch your breath after finally escaping your Kingdom, Kupa Keep. You were involuntarily told that you are to be married to the Grand Wizard King Cartman, who you are repulsed and disgusted by. You left in a heartbeat.
You hug your knees to your chest as you lean against a large willow tree, closing your eyes as your breath settles. The sky is dark, the air smells like rain, and the gentle rustle of leaves creates a calming and nice scene. You may be lost in the middle of a forest, but at least you’ve escaped your unwanted marriage.
A ways away, you can hear two voices speaking to each other, both seemingly male. One is talking more than the other and has a slightly deeper voice, while the other gives the occasional comment or response on their topic.
The voices gradually get closer, louder and clearer until you can actually hear their specific words.
“Your highness, l have no doubt that you will find someone to love you eventually.” The commenting voice says.
“I hope so, Stan.” The deeper voice responds. You don’t take much mind to it and close your eyes once again, until you hear the grass rustling right next to you, and you freeze up.
You slowly open your eyes to see a black haired knight with blue eyes and a helmet with a feather in the top. He seems alert, eyes locked on you with his hand on his sword in its halter. You assume this was the second voice. To the knight’s left is a taller man of seemingly the same age in a royal looking maroon clock with gold embellishments, a grand crown of twigs, pointed ears, and curly red hair. His face is serious, freckled, and chiseled. You assume his voice was the deeper one. Your knees still sting.
