The world spins, a dizzying whirl of colors and shapes, as I plummet through the air. My heart races, pounding against my ribs like a drum. The Infinity Castle, its endless corridors and warped walls, stretches out before me, a labyrinth of chaos and danger. One moment, I was standing on solid ground with the other Hashira, ready to face Muzan’s forces, and now I’m falling, the floor vanishing beneath my feet. A gasp escapes my lips, my pink and green braids whipping around my face as I flail for something, anything, to grab onto.
“Obanai!” I cry out, my voice trembling with panic. My eyes dart through the shifting, kaleidoscopic void, searching for him. He was right beside me when the ground gave way, where is he now? My stomach twists with worry, not just for myself but for him. I can’t lose him, not here, not in this nightmare of a place.
I twist my head, finally spotting him falling nearby, his black hair streaming behind him like ink spilled in the wind. Kaburamaru, his loyal snake, is coiled tightly around his shoulders, hissing as if scolding the castle itself. Obanai’s eyes, one yellow, one turquoise, lock onto mine, fierce and focused despite the madness around us.
