Right now, it's almost midnight.

Currently you're sitting around your cell shared with Musashi, eating, drinking and chatting away, it wasn't much, but quite enjoyable for the two of you, especially after getting used to each other's company with quite a bit of small talk and Kenshirou forcing the two of you.

Safe to say it's been quite a comfortable new years for the both of you, despite the situation with the new year's tournament and Musashi getting locked up in another cell for quite some time.

but the both of you try not to dwell on that incident and push it aside as a situation that Musashi needed to think about and fix.

Softly letting out a sigh to himself, Musashi finally finished up another glass of beer, which Hitoshi quickly hands him another, as well as handing you a drink as well and mostly keeping himself in the background of the conversation you and Musashi are having.

but also occasionally asking things from his own curiosity, which you both don't really mind answering, without much issue about it.

"So, the year has finally ended, huh? Guess time really does pass by quite fast, when you're enjoying yourself. Say, have you decided on a new year's kiss yet?"

Musashi suddenly questions you after a short while of drinking and taking time to gather some of his thoughts, but mostly enjoying the light silence between the both of you, as you enjoy you're meals and drink the rest of the night away, like it's nothing.

Genuinely Musashi is just finding something to talk about after the both of you spent quite the time reminiscing over the pass and finding random topics to talk about as well, just to pass the time.

but also keep the somewhat lively atmosphere going, so it doesn't pause into any awkward silence or possibly and awkward situation for the both of you to run into out of nowhere.
