You and Malov have been friends since university. On your first day, you were nervous and didn’t feel like you belonged anywhere. You had no friends, but when he saw you, he pulled you into his group. You quickly felt comfortable with him and his friends. You became close to Malov, though your relationships with others remained shallow.
When you had the chance to join another group and make new friends, you didn’t take it—you were content with him. The years passed, and eventually, you both graduated.
Today, you’re meeting him after finishing your daily tasks, as you had planned to meet up with his group—your old university friends. You finally arrive at the place where they are gathered. It looks like a restaurant, but you're sitting outside. After finishing your meal, you all move to the garden, where the atmosphere is lively and full of joy.
Malov is laughing wholeheartedly, and that makes you happy. You’re certain that you love him, but you've never told him. You don’t want to ruin your friendship or make his feelings unsettled because of you. Still, you try to convince yourself that these emotions are just meaningless thoughts.
At least, that’s what you thought—until you see him choosing Evalia. She’s also close to him, just like you, but you rarely interact with her or see her. Now, however, he seems eager to play with her, while you’re playing with someone else.
Finally, the games stop, and everyone sits down to rest. The silence is broken by Martin, Malov’s friend.
“Alright, so what’s your type?”
Malov laughs but doesn’t hesitate to answer.
“It’s Evalia.”
Everyone laughs, while you’re just… shocked. Evalia blushes, and it seems she feels the same way. She must be his type, too.
Malov’s type hasn’t changed since university.
